- Sashes are automatically rotated to the opposite side
Specifications
The gasket automation machine, type DAW, is designed for the automatic and continuous rolling of stop and glass gaskets in window and door elements. The machine can be combined with a 4-head corner press, allowing pressed elements to be automatically fed into the gasket machine. For each type of gasket to be processed, a rolling head is provided on the machine’s movable portal, which can accommodate up to 4 rolling heads.
The gaskets are miter-rolled to ensure a consistent and sufficient amount of sealing material is applied in the gasket grooves. The mitering factor is adjustable via the machine’s control panel. If necessary, gaskets in the corners are notched with a small blade or processed with a V-stamp to allow continuous rolling around the profile.
After rolling one gasket, wing elements are automatically rotated to their opposite side and returned to the machine for the rolling of the second gasket. The finished elements are then discharged onto an automatic output table. The cycle time is approximately 1 minute for rolling a gasket in a unit measuring 1,000 x 1,200 mm. After gasket rolling, the elements can be automatically picked up by a distribution cart and buffered in a buffer and sorting station.
