ALU2+ – New Production Facility with Automated Machine Park
ALU2+ in Brustem, a manufacturer of aluminum joinery using SAPA profiles, has experienced strong growth in recent years. To support this growth, the company invested in a spacious, modern production hall with showroom and offices. At the same time, they sought to update the existing machine park, with a focus on greater automation and higher production quality.
Machine park
- Automatic profile storage system
- Seal roll-in machine
- CNC 4-head corner press
- Hardware automation machine for rails
- Extendable work tables for sliding windows
As a specialist in automating production processes for aluminum windows and doors, Tryma worked with ALU2+ on a thorough analysis of the existing production and desired capacity. Based on this, a custom layout was developed and reference visits were organized at other processors with similar machines. ALU2+ ultimately opted for several optimizations: an automatic storage system for leftover profiles, integrated with their own software; a machine for the automatic and spliced roll-in of rebate and glass seals into cut profiles; and a CNC 4-head corner press. In addition, Tryma supplied two extendable and tiltable assembly tables, allowing a single operator to assemble sliding windows up to 7 meters independently.
These investments have significantly boosted productivity and quality at ALU2+. The new machines not only create a more efficient production process but also guarantee perfectly finished windows and doors. We wish them every success with this next step.
