After the hardware has been mounted on the sash using the hardware table, the sash elements are automatically fed into the automatic screwdriving unit for 4-sided fastening of the hardware. The machine is equipped with 4 screwdrivers, allowing all four sides of the sash to be processed simultaneously. The cycle time per screw and per side is 3 seconds. The cycle time for automatically feeding or discharging the sash is 15 seconds. Screws are automatically supplied to the screwdrivers, and multiple screw types can be processed with the machine. After fastening the hardware, the sash is automatically transferred to a transport table with a tilting system. This tilts the sash from a horizontal to a vertical position and then feeds it onto a powered vertical roller conveyor.
