After a thorough market study, Yvo Boven turned to Tryma for the supply and installation of a CNC-controlled 1-head crimping machine. The machine is equipped with a large touchscreen PC and is controlled using data files from the Reynapro software package. After scanning the barcode, the profile type to be crimped appears on screen, showing the operator exactly how to position and crimp the element. The crimping knives automatically adjust to the correct height according to the profile type. After each corner, the next step is automatically displayed on the screen. The connection with Reynapro also allows for production time tracking.

Thanks to this investment, no specific prior knowledge is required for the operator, and both speed and accuracy of work are significantly improved. For Yvo Boven, this CNC crimping machine represents not only a major gain in productivity but also a further step in the digitalisation of their production process. For this project, Tryma worked closely with Reynaers, supplier of aluminium profiles, to deliver a perfectly integrated total solution.
