De Neef - PVC Glazing Bead Saw
Karel De Neef was looking for a flexible saw machine to cut PVC glazing beads both in mitre and straight cuts in a fully automatic way. He found the right solution at Tryma. Productivity is further increased thanks to the automatic feeding of the glazing bead into the saw.
Automatic Glazing Bead Saw
- Saw with automatic glazing bead feeding
- Automatically rising saw blade, 300 mm diameter
- Servo-controlled positioning of rotary table
- Continuously adjustable saw angles between 20° and 160°
- Electronically adjustable profile clamping according to glazing bead type
The saw is operated using cutting lists transmitted wirelessly from the client’s calculation program. After loading the cutting list, the glazing beads are automatically fed using a gripper. The clamping of both the saw and the feeding system is automatically adjusted according to the glazing bead type. The saw also features a servo-controlled rotary table, allowing the beads to be cut automatically at various angles. This allows the client to cut beads either straight at 90° or at miters. The cut beads are discharged onto a roller conveyor. The operator applies the label to the bead and places it in a vertical glazing bead trolley. The machine was installed by Tryma technicians. After installation and start-up, extensive training was provided to the client.
