Servalux – Efficient and Accurate Cutting of Glazing Beads
Servalux was looking for a solution to measure and cut aluminium glazing beads. The process needed to fit seamlessly into their new production line while ensuring quality and finish.
Automatic length stop
- Useful positioning length 4/5/6 m
- PC with touch screen
- Digital measuring rod
- Left / right mounting option
Tryma supplied an installation consisting of a manual saw combined with an automatic length stop. The glazing beads are first cut to overlength on the sawing and machining centre and then stored per element in glazing bead trolleys. At the end of the assembly line, a dedicated workstation was set up for measuring, cutting, and installing the glazing beads. The lengths are accurately measured with a digital measuring rod and wirelessly sent to the PC of the length stop.
Thanks to this solution, Servalux can now measure and cut its glazing beads more efficiently and with high precision, ensuring a perfect finish for its customers.
