Automatic sawing centre for aluminium glazing beads and auxiliary profiles
The automatic sawing centre has been developed for the efficient and precise cutting to length of aluminium glazing beads, clamping strips and other auxiliary profiles. Automatic profile feeding, sawing and unloading minimise the need for operator intervention.
The machine features an automatic infeed magazine with a capacity of approximately 7 profiles and a maximum profile length of 6.500 mm. An automatic gripping clamp positions and transports the profiles to the sawing unit. During sawing, the profiles are clamped pneumatically in both horizontal and vertical directions. The saw blade moves automatically from the bottom upwards, ensuring a precise cut.
After sawing, the profiles are automatically transported to the outfeed table by a gripping clamp. A pneumatic pusher moves the cut profiles forward, allowing several profiles to be collected on the outfeed table. A sensor detects when the outfeed table is full. A label printer for identifying the cut profiles is located underneath the outfeed table.
The machine is operated via a swivel-mounted PC with user-friendly software. It can be controlled fully automatically using external control files, while also allowing cutting lists to be created directly on the machine.
Optional: integrated punching unit
The sawing centre can optionally be equipped with an automatic punching unit integrated upstream of the sawing unit. This enables additional machining operations to be performed on aluminium clamping strips and other auxiliary profiles.
The profiles are positioned precisely by the automatic gripping clamp. The punching unit then moves to the required position using a servo motor and performs the operation quickly and burr-free.
The punching unit comes as standard with two interchangeable punching tools, allowing different operations to be performed.
By combining punching and sawing in a single automated production process, additional manual handling is eliminated and productivity is further increased.
